TO FIND GIGOLO VISIT: 84-86 WARDOUR STREET, SOHO
10PM-3AM THURSDAYS @ LO PROFILE
Kennedy Carter: No. I mean, lots of photographers have taken photos of me, but never for anything commercial. I think you can only really call yourself a model if you are getting paid!
No, I have always been really into fashion and I was always very aware that even if I had a face that was suitable to modelling, I would be too short. I think the height restrictions make sense based on the sample sizes that designers use.
I always loved to dance, but last summer Jodie Harsh, a big party promoter in London, contacted me about being in the ads for a new party she was starting, and dancing at the party. Since then I have got to dance at parties in New York, San Francisco, Brussels, and Toronto, it has ben great.
Well I spent a good part of my late teens in clubs dancing with my shirt off, so it wasn't too different!
No not at all. Obviously I have to focus on it because of my job, but I'm under no illusions about it being the most perfect gym in the world.
What is the type of your guy? Would you go for a cute skinny one or you have an exact type you prefer?
I nearly always go for Latin guys, usually at least ten years older, hairy, tattooed, rough looking!
The porn came first. I never really thought I would gogo because I'm not as muscled as most of the guys out there, but once I became better known for doing movies I got booked more and more.
The amount different porn companies pay their models varies hugely, all I will say is I'm getting paid enough to get by!
When I started university I wanted a job that paid well without having to work too many hours so I could focus on my studies, and porn ticked both those boxes. I just off my photos to a few websites and they all responded really positively. I initially worked in Europe and then after filming for Raging Stallion in San Francisco they hired me as an exclusive for a year, which has just ended.
What are your plans now?
Im about to start the third year of my degree, at a university in Mexico City. After graduating in 2012 I want to move to New York permanently to start my Masters.
For sure u remember your first time with a camera. How was it? Were you scared?
It was actually really easy. It was for a German company called Cazzo, and it was a small set up with just the director and one camera man. Also my partner in the scene was new too so we kind of guided each other through it.
Every studio is legally required to get two forms of ID from every model, if models under 18 are used illicitly it is certainly frowned on by the vast majority of the industry.
I wouldn't say there is much preparation, other than avoiding any sexual stimulation for a few days in advance of a shoot. I do think it is just another form of modelling, or acting - you have to be constantly aware of where the camera is, how your body looks from which angles, how much passion you are putting into your performance.
(Laughs) Well the tool takes care of itself, but in terms of my body I work out five times a week, mainly weights with some cardio, and I eat really healthily. Knowing you are going to have a camera pointed at your gut is a really great motivation to put the work in at the gym!
No. I have never worked with anyone I found sexually unattractive, we usually get to check out a model we are going to work out before a shoot. At the end of the day, a shoot is my job and not really about my sexual satisfaction, but about the sexual satisfaction of those people who will watch it - the import_ant thing is to give a good performance.
Things most difficult when it comes to porn?
People misconceptions about our intelligence, morals, or character.
Do you have a boyfriend? Is he in a porn industry as well too?
I have a boyfriend, who lives in NYC, but he does not do porn. He definitely has all the right assets but he is not as much of an exhibitionist as me.
Is it easy to have a relationship being in such an environment?
I guess jealousy can come into it, but as long as you are open and honest most people eventually understand that it is just a job.
SO IT'S LIKE IN THIS JOKE: I AM A WHORE BUT IT'S JUST A JOB - I CAN CHANGE IT, BUT YOU'RE A BITCH - AND THAT'S A CHARACTER.

THE SEX TALK.
Text: Bartek Fetysz Rytkowski
Carrie Bradshaw made her entire career writing about men. So I thought, maybe I can do it too so I will become a successful fashion journalist at last? Because despite of what women think: men are not so easy to understand even if we are all about sex. But who is not? In the twenty first century when the censure seems to be almost mythical we all are looking for pleasures: both for a body and mind. We all treat other people like accessories. We may have the whole collection and keep changing them trying to make them suit to our outfit or we may just keep wearing one precious like we were married to it forever. Men are like accessories. That's why in this issue I became Carrie and talked to men – about men, women and sex – the most interesting issues you can imagine. Mixed with a little bit of the nudity (take a look at these sexy photos) and humour I got a killer combination. Yeah, this interview is full of fireworks and dirty talk.
I've picked my favourite male models to talk to.
Pierre Barreda (MGM Agency) is like a perfect cupcake. Even diabetics will lick their lips looking at this perfectly shaped man. But it's not easy to get him. He's the only one from the rest of the musketeers that is taken, but offer him a new watch, maybe he'll change his mind.
You like hardcore? Stephane Olivier (Success Models) who's a father of a beautiful girl and a serial heart-breaker will be a perfect match for you.
There's also a twinkle little star Zef Balbona (Hollywood Model Management) with his obsession with James Bond's look. Nope, he's not mean, don't believe the people who are saying so. He may only bite you in bed, but who wouldn't like to make love with a real vampire nowadays, huh?
And the last but not least is truly gorgeous Sasha Marini (now, let's make it official – Will you marry me?) - a guy who has knocked Jon Kortajarena and became my favourite model of all the times. This mix of personalities, charm and style will rock this issue of Idoll Magazine.
Fasten your seatbelts girls, gays and sexually confused boys – I am taking you for a ride. Ready, steady, GO!
Idoll: Let's start it raw - Do you consider yourself as hot? Handsome?
Zef Balbona: I think being hot is more about confidence than anything else. I guess I have something going on if I am in the business (laughs). When I put on a nice suit and look in the mirror I just can't help but feel like James Bond. And that's when I feel the most handsome, I guess.
Sasha Marini: Well, I don't consider myself as hot and handsome. I think I am a common man.
Pierre Barreda: I don't consider myself as hot or handsome too, but I can do it as a model, it's my job and I'll do it all the time for different photographers or fashion designers.
Stephane Olivier: I don't see myself as handsome at all. Maybe through the eyes of my daughter. I think I am more hot.
Idoll: Wow, I think I am impressed with those answers, but let's go on. In times where people do have a body obsession, where size plus models are becoming zero size models, where "diet" is everyone's favourite word - how do you treat your body to look the way it is?
Stephane: I am from family that is very into sports and we are all tall and skinny so? I eat whatever and make a lot of sports.
Pierre: (Laughs) I do sport since I was young. When I became a model I trained my body muscles twice a week in the gym club. Sometimes I accept to be greedy and bite in a big hamburger.
Sasha: I try to do my best to be fit because modelling business is very demanding and competition is always high. When I am not travelling for work, I regularly go to gym and I take care of my healthy diet without becoming obsessed about my body shape. When I get worked up, I take care of my mental health reading books and doing yoga.
Zef: I don't get too crazy about maintaining a certain body. I'm lean and have been for a while and I like it that way. I don't have any crazy workout plans but let me tell you: walking is the way to go! Living in New York I walked everywhere and anywhere and I didn't mind it at all. Now I live in Los Angeles – it's a bit hard to walk around the city but I still manage to get it done.
Idoll: How long are you a model and how did your adventure start?
Stephane: I have been modelling since 1997 and I start it in a street casting by a famous photographer when I was coming out from school, Bethina Reims. She has found me my first agency, Success Paris, that became my mother agency.
Sasha: I started being a model ten years ago when I was studying law at the university, because I wanted to make some extra money. I realised that fashion was more than a passion so I decided to travel in order to get a competitive background for my career. I lived in Athens, Barcelona, Madrid, Berlin, Istanbul, Munich, New York: all these cities are definitely a part of myself and gave me the chance to be the really open-minded man that I am.
Zef: I started in mid year of 2008. I was scouted while on the train. I had never thought about pursuing it before, but when the opportunity arose I though “Why the hell not”.
Pierre: Two years now. Before that I was windows seller. It was a dream for me to be a fashion model, all people around me were telling me I should do it so I did and it worked.
Idoll: Fashion world is all about sex. Nowadays the photo sessions are very brave, sometimes they are all about the nudity. Is there anything you would never do in a photo shoot?
Pierre: No, I can't do everything for fashion but you never know. If I'd had to work with photographers like Steven Klein or Ellen Von Unwerth it would be a pleasure to be naked.
Sasha: I totally agree. Photo sessions are often very provocative and they need a realistic reading. I shot several editorials with a very hot mood (take a look at the photos Sasha took for Idoll) but I never would do sex during a shoot. I think work and private/sexual life are different areas. I'm not a slut and I've never thought to use sex to go on.
Zef: I don't think there's anything I'm against doing. I mean if the job was right and I knew the final product would be good, then I would go for it. Life is short, make it interesting.
Stephane: Hey, sex in front of the camera is another job - a porn star. I am just a model.
Idoll: (Laughs) Yeah, true, but I am kinda curious, how do you feel about the nudity then? You're okay just to step into the studio and take your clothes off? Or maybe there's some stress? I'd like to know something about the feelings during such a session.
Sasha: When it comes to me during this type of sessions I don't think to be sexy: I let myself by the synergy developed with the photographer and I do my best to express my feelings.
Pierre: It's a part of the job. At the beginning I can be a little shy but I quickly feel more comfortable even with the fashion staff around.
Stephane: I don't care to get naked if it's for a beautiful story or an art project. I've worked with Ian Walters and Joachim Baldorff on nude stories.
Zef: I don't think nudity is a big deal at all. I personally have no problem taking my clothes off and I don't think I am doing anything wrong either. There's a book out there somewhere and I am in and it was a nude shoot. It was my first and only time doing nudity but wasn't stressing it whatsoever. I'd do it again too if it was for the right job.
Stephane: We all have the same body, different shapes but the same!
Idoll: If you could become someone else for a one day. Who would it be?
Zef: Probably an airport security screening guard. I could pull anyone to the side and search them. How fun (laughs). I am completely joking. I really never thought much of being anyone else.
Stephane: Nobody! I am good with what I have.
Pierre: I'd chose to be the photographer Peter Lindberg. I would really like to know what you can feel beside his eyes.
Sasha: I'd pick Tony Ward. I think he's a talented man with a great character a very versatile model with an editorial attitude that I consider hard to compare.
Idoll: Now, straight to fantasies. Everyone, almost everyone I know has a fantasy about some celebrity or are straight in love with one. Pattinson maniacs are all about it. Imagine you can go to bed with one celebrity female/male - who would it be?
Sasha: Well, I have no sexual fantasies about some celebrity. I consider gesture, expressions, smells, alchemy that were born with people I've met as the most charming.
Zef: Hands down, Lindsay Lohan. My good friends know that this is one fantasy I cannot get over. There's something so raunchy about her. If by somehow I was able to get in bed with her, I think she'd take me for one hell of a ride!
Idoll: (Laughs) Maybe she would even gave you some line of cocaine to feel more confident. What bout the rest of you, guys?
Pierre: I already have a girlfriend but if I had to chose, definitely Tyra Banks! She's on my top list!
Stephane: I had a crush on Linda Evangelista when I was younger. She was really the one making me freak out! I even met her few years later when I was in the fashion industry. Older, different, but hell yeah!
Idoll: You're aware of your sex appeal, you have to be! Is it easier in life being beautiful and have a great body? Or is it harder? I know many beautiful people that are single... and unhappy. Why?
Sasha: Beauty makes life easier, this is unquestionable. But to be beautiful doesn't mean to be happy. Happiness requires more different elements than the only good-looking.
Stephane: It is not because you're beautiful or not. Humans are humans – always not satisfied!
Pierre: I am gonna say something very simple but true. First you have to be fine with yourself and find the good balance in your life. Whatever if you are single or unhappy – all depends how you feel in your body.
Zef: Like everything it has its ups and downs. I don't think anyone really minds having a certain appeal but on the other hand it's also a curse. People often judge based on how you look. I get told that I look mean and it makes me wonder how many people have withheld from introducing themselves to me. Maybe I've missed out a good relationship? Who knows.
Stephane: But who cares if your are a rock star or a plumber? You will have the same feelings! We are all in the same shit!
Idoll: I can bet a lot of people are having crush on you guys. What is your way to flirt? You're forward? Shy?
Zef: When it comes to casual flings or hook ups I am really forward. I try to get straight to the point. However, when I meet someone I actually like I become like a little shy boy. I get my thoughts twisted, I don't say what I mean, sometimes I don't speak at all. It's kind of sad/funny but I guess if I'm being shy around you, then you'll know I'm really interested (laughs).
Pierre: I have my own method to flirt. I make people believe I don't know how to dredge and they do it on me (laughs).
Stephane: Do I flirt? I don't know because if I like someone I am kind of straight to the point. Sometimes to straight (laughs).
Sasha: I don't like flirting. I am spontaneous and straight forward. If the atmosphere involve me I shall carry myself by emotions. Anyway I don't think many people have crush on me.
Idoll: Well, I am crazy about you Sasha, you know that (laughs). I am even done with loving Jon Kortajarena for you (laughs)! But okay, back to the topic. Is it easy for a person with your look get a sex date?
Pierre: When I was single I did it every day (laughs). I'm not gonna lie to you – it's more easy to seduce a girl when you're a good looking guy.
Stephane: I don't know. Maybe?
Sasha: Yes, it is. But I am not so interested in sex dates.
Zef: I think in this day and age it's easy for anyone to get a sex date. I don't think looks are the biggest factor in it. It's hormones, when two people want it, they want it.
Idoll: "Nice and slow" or "passionate wild lover"?
Stephane: Hardcore baby!!!
Sasha: Truly passionate wild lover.
Pierre: Both mate! We need to know the varied pleasures.
Zef: I'm in my twenties so I'd go with passionate wild lover. Check back in a couple years, maybe that will have changed.
Idoll: It is said models are sluts. They are getting involved in relationships with other models, photographers. Is it true? Is it really all about the beauty? I am beauty so I deserve a beautiful partner? Or the character is also important?
Zef: I don't think it's anyone's business who anyone dates. If it makes them happy, then fuck it, go for it. Is it all about the beauty? No. Definitely not. I know many beautiful people who have shit personalities, and to me, that's one hell of a tragedy.
Stephane: Yes it is true! You date a model if you are a model, you work together – it's easier. But I do also have a lot of friends who are models and who have partners from different works. I married a model! And divorced her too!
Sasha: I think most of the models are sluts in their minds like other people and of course there are many who decide to have sexual relationships especially with photographers or fashion editors just because this attitude can be very useful for their career. Nevertheless I don't think beauty is the only requirement – personality and human side can make the difference even in the fashion industry.
Pierre: Come on! Everybody knows the answer, see by yourself. Everything is possible in this life!
Idoll: By myself? I am fucking single and when it comes to relationships I am a total cunt! I only can offer a charming personality.
Stephane: Character is what it's all about!
Idoll: So, let's make it easier for some people. What should someone do to take you out for a date?
Sasha: A person should be straight forward, natural and capable to astonish me.
Zef: I hate games. I hate when girls try to get me to ask them out. I like being straight forward. Tell me how you feel and if I feel the same way, then I'll make sure we'll have a great time.
Stephane: Just be sexy and don't talk for nothing.
Pierre: I like to meet open-minded people with a good soul and hot body, but... I'd be more attracted if someone offer me a present like a watch... I am a huge watches collector (laughs).
Idoll: Looks like we have a material boy here! But I'd do anything for a free pair of jeans so I understand you perfectly (laughs). The most akward date situation you had in your life? Or the most stupid text, quote to ask you out?
Stephane: I met a friend and his girlfriend for a dinner. Ended as a bondage party and even more.
Stephane: That was funny! (laughs)
Zef: I was crossing the street with a girl while talking to her one time and the entire time she was all bout herself. I don't think she could have cared less about what I had to say. She was just happy I had two ears to listen. Anyway, we were about to cross the street and she was in the middle of telling a story about something that had happened to her, when all of sudden she tripped. She tried catching her fall but ended up running right into a pole and almost knocked herself out. Poor girl had bruise on her forehead. Being that she was so self-conscious about her looks and the fact that she was so embarrassed, she flagged down a cab and ran off. I laughed the whole way home.
Pierre: When I was 14 years old I met a girl on the internet. She put on her page wonderful pictures of her, she was so damn hot! So we talked a long time. It was fun to talk so much to a person you've never met. Finally we have decided to meet. But she wasn't the girl I was expecting to see. I don't want to be mean but she was so ugly that I ran away from her (laughs).
Sasha: For me that would be a shooting with a very known photographer. I thought of my job, he thought of quite different things.
Idoll: Porn amateur? (laugh). And how do you react when a gay guy is asking you out? Any stories about that? Cuz a lot of straight men feel unsecured during that kind of situations, they are becoming aggressive or just confused.
Pierre: I have a lot of gay friends. Also I work with many in the fashion business. I am straight but I feel open about the way people choose their lifestyle and I love the gay culture. I respect gays a lot!
Stephane: Same here. I respect their lives and they respect mine. I have very close gay friends.
Sasha: It has happened several times and it doesn't embarrass me because I am interested in individual's character not only in their sexuality. I think many heterosexuals are embarrassed in those situations because they aren't in confidence with their female part and they challenge their manhood.
Zef: It's flattering in a way, as well as funny. I just have a good time with it. I'm not the one who feels uncomfortable in those situations. I think the key is to make sure the guy asking you out doesn't feel embarrassed or bad about themselves for making the mistake.
Idoll: A lot of beautiful people like to stare at themselves in the mirror. Do you like to look at yourself? At your photos? What are your thoughts when you're looking at yourself?
Stephane: DAMN! I am old! (laughs).
Pierre: Of course I look at myself in the mirror! It's a part of my job to check my body, to give my best to the fashion company.
Zef: What do I see when I look in the mirror? I see the same guy I've seen the last 23 years or so, someone who is very down to earth. I'm not egoistical at all not do I think I am better than anyone else. I simply see the guy with a dream.
Sasha: When I look at my photos I see a man who works with passion and is very stern.
Idoll: Your beauty tips? How do you work on your body? I will spank you for the answer: McDonald's and pizza, I swear.
Sasha: I don't have a handbook of advices – my choice is a continuous effort to get the aim.
Stephane: I have to confess: I am a chocolate freak, sorry.
Pierre: My secret is to make love to my girlfriend everyday – it helps to loose weight (laughs).
Zef: I hate the idea of dieting or not eating what I want. I mean who is to say that I shouldn't eat a burger? If I'm in the mood for a burger then I'll gladly have one. I think the key is not to get attached to food. Yeah, that could be a problem.
Sasha: Obstinacy is the mother of success.
Idoll: Five words that would perfectly describe you?
Zef: Curious, smart, adventurous, fearless and kind. I hope that doesn't sound cocky.
Stephane: Om mani pad me om.
Pierre: Happiness, ambitious, kind, respectful, epicurean.
Sasha: Professional, determined, tenacious, passionate, polite.
Idoll: Your secret you can share with me?
Sasha: I'll share my mantra with you: “Nothing happens by chance”.
Stephane: Fashion is not the answer.
Zef: I worked at an ice-cream shop when I was 16. Everyone in my school went to this place to get ice-cream. It was probably one of the more embarrassing times in my life.
Idoll: Do you have any addictions? Or bad habits?
Stephane: Ganja (laughs).
Zef: I guess smoking but I like it so I wouldn't say it's a bad habit.
Pierre: Candy addiction and I smoke cigars.
Sasha: My only addiction is sex and being foolish.
Idoll: Okay, the last question. What would you do if you could become a woman for one day?
Zef: (Laughs) Tough one! I think I would want to be a woman in the 1800's or so but I would keep my personality I have now. I think I would go down in the history books for some interesting behaviour.
Sasha: Naturally I would have sex! With a different behaviour that I'd be very curious to discover.
Pierre: First of all I'd like to be a woman with big boobs so I could touch them all day long (laughs). I would also try to make love with a guy to know how it feels like.
Stephane: I would become a whore and would fuck all day.
Idoll: Yeah, men. It's all about sex!
